ESCAPE FROM THE CITY FOR A DAY!
ENJOY THE TEMPERATE CLIMATE, THE NATURE AND RELAX IN THE HOT SPRINGS!
Leaving Bogota, the Virgin of Guadalupe can be visited. It is a simple sanctuary located at 3.316m, where one appreciates a commanding view of the city of Bogotá. The road passes through the area of ‘Páramo del Verjón’, which is appreciated for its climate and vegetation. After a journey of about 30 minutes, you reach the starting point of the trek to ‘Cascada La Chorrera’, known to be the highest waterfall in Colombia with a drop of 590 meters. The route to the waterfall is very nice; you can enjoy nature and fresh air, accompanied by an amazing view of the forest and mountains. Once at the waterfall its majesty can be contemplated. Then the bus directs to the village of Choachí, where the hot springs are located. Its mineral waters spring from the soil with a temperature of approximately 80°C. The body enjoys full relaxation and gains off the mineral-medicinal benefits. In the evening hours we return to Bogotá, recharged with energy and pleased having enjoyed a day full of nature and relaxation.

- Leaving Bogotá in private transport in the morning

Comments:
- Program and visited sites may change due to weather or other circumstances that cannot be foreseen. In dry season the waterfalls have less water, sometimes they are dry. But the nature is very beautiful and worth a visit anyway!
- Please bring walking shoes, rain jacket, a hat, bathing suit, sunscreen, extra water and a snack.
