SAN CIPRIANO
BE TAKEN BY THE WITCHES TOWARDS PARADISE ON EARTH!
San Cipriano is a small village located half an hour from the port city of Buenaventura, in the middle of the Pacific rainforest. It is a nature reserve where the air is humid and hot. Fauna and flora is characterized by its wide diversity. It is a location with the second highest humidity in the world. Another attraction of this site is its untouched and preserved state. It is only accessed by the railroad from Buenaventura, which has been readapted to reach the village – you have to travel on ‘the witches’ (las brujitas)! The witches are vehicles, attached to the rail and powered by motorcycles. They carry visitors from Córdoba to San Cipriano, a tour through the humid jungle, the green forests and pristine rivers. Its totally clear waters allow you to view the river carpeted with colored stones. The river provides an uncommon entertainment, called tubing. This is sitting on a tire, floating down the river and swimming.
This environment is surrounded by trails, waterfalls and lakes, which is perfect to feel nice sensations and relax. This is thanks to the peace and serenity of its scenery in the middle of the jungle.
