VILLAVICENCIO – THE GATEWAY TO THE LLANOS ORIENTALES

Day1

• Leaving Bogotá towards Villavicencio early in the morning


• Arrival at hotel in Villavicencio


• Lunch


• Transfer to the zoo Bioparque Los Ocarros, where you can enjoy the wildlife of the whole Orinoco and Amazon region of Colombia. Besides the Ocarro, which is the animal that gives the name to the park, you can see 181 species of fauna.


• City Tour


• Transfer to accommodation


• Dinner


• Visit of the viewpoint, where you can observe Villavicencio, in complicity with an unforgettable sunset.


• Resting Time

• Transport on the Llanos sunrise route at 4:00am


• Transfer to Alto Menegua, the geographic centre of Colombia, where you can observe the sunrise of the Llanos


• Purchase of crafts and souvenirs from the Llanos


• Transfer to Hacienda Marsella, where the Llanos culture becomes an adventure in complicity with nature. The activities undertaken that are included in the plan are:


• Option 1 Passport Marsella: Including daytime horseback ride, journey into the unknown that is a fascinating trip down the river on tubes, where you can cool off in the waterfall of Tarzan


• Option 2 Package Marsella: Including tour on a buggy  carriage over the hacienda, approaching different native species and cattle herding. This activity takes place in the afternoon at 4:30pm

• Transfer to Malocas, a perfect place to approach the culture of the eastern plains. Witness the Coleo lane Benedicty Cely, village of the Llanos, Hato of Santa Helena, characters from the Llanos mythology.
